Prior to Katie Hobbs, Arizona was one of the best states in America for growth, new jobs, growing wages, and economic environment. Now, after just three years of Katie Hobbs, Arizona is in the bottom-five in many of these same categories. We deserve better, and I’ll work to get us back to what works – lower taxes, fewer regulations, strong colleges and trade schools, cheap and plentiful energy and water, and a business and family-friendly state that is attractive to those looking to relocate and grow.

I remain opposed to amnesty and will continue to advocate for real border security to stop the flow of drugs, guns, and crime that cross our border. That means a real border wall, enforcement of our laws, and a strong focus on the criminals who perpetrate violent crimes against our citizens and communities.

I'm grateful we have a President who puts America first, who is taking a hard line on our trade deals, who is securing our border, and who supports our first responders and our military. Too many in our own Party are afraid to stand with President Trump and his efforts to drain the swamp and rebuild the amazing economy he helped to create. Not me. I stand with our President and share his commitment to putting the best interests of our nation first.

Strong families make a strong Arizona, so when I vote on legislation my question is always “Will this be good for Arizona’s families?”

I helped lead the charge to increase K-12 funding and to increase teacher pay by 20% and we got the job done without raising taxes. Now we need to win the fight to ensure these billions of additional dollars make it to the classrooms themselves, where they can benefit our kids and teachers directly. I have also been fighting to improve the school funding formulas for our rural schools and championed dual enrollment at every high school in our districts.

I'm a Lifetime Member of the NRA and will always vote to ensure that our right to keep and bear arms is never infringed, period!

I was the prime sponsor for the resolution to put Term Limits on Congress because public service shouldn’t be a career and going to Congress shouldn’t be a lifetime appointment.

Our families live within our means and our government needs to do the same. That's why I believe so strongly in real balanced budgets, that are responsible, low-tax, and are done without accounting gimmicks.

As someone who knows the importance of being able to responsibly use our land and natural resources, I also know how suffocating the EPA and other federal agencies can be. Protecting the rights of Arizonans to use what God gave us remains a priority for me.

The U.S. Constitution says that all rights not expressly given to the Federal Government remain exclusively with the States, yet Congress and the Federal Government routinely violate our rights as a State. I will continue to fight this overreach and work with our Congressional delegation to take back our rights.
